Glenn Gutierrez
Owner-operator
Glenn is the heart and driving force behind the store. He brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in flooring installation, sales and remodeling, and he has a personality you won't mistake for anyone else's. Energy, enthusiasm and real care sit right next to expert product knowledge, whether he's helping a homeowner or a business owner find the right fit for their space. Every project gets done with precision and attention to detail.
His journey started with grit. In the early days, Glenn delivered carpet samples to customers out of the back of his car, building the business one relationship at a time. Perseverance, honesty and an unstoppable work ethic turned that small start into the business that serves the Yakima Valley today. His wife, Lindsay, has been a constant source of support, cheering him on as he built the company from the ground up. Raised by a hardworking single mother of four, Glenn learned early the value of responsibility, determination and resilience, and those lessons still shape how he works.
Away from the showroom, Glenn enjoys golfing, bowling and watching sports, and he is an active member of several organizations around Yakima. He's a devoted father of three and a proud grandfather, and family stays at the center of everything he does. For a full residential remodel, a commercial flooring upgrade or a simple countertop installation, he's a trusted partner.
Jeff Phillips
Manager
For the past five years Jeff has been a key part of the team, bringing decades of operational experience and administrative know-how. Before flooring, he built a 27-year career as an executive in the LTL trucking industry, with a reputation for operational efficiency and solving problems. He sees things outside the box and builds systems that streamline any operation.
Day to day, Jeff keeps the business running smoothly. He oversees operations, accounts payable and receivable, and HR.
He moved to the Yakima Valley in January 2020 with his wife, Dana. They chose Selah to be closer to their daughter and three grandchildren, and he spends his free time with Dana and the grandkids.
Jose Rivera
Remodeling & Sales Specialist
Jose spent more than a decade as a Journeyman Carpenter in the Carpenters Union, working on schools, commercial buildings and high-rises around greater Seattle. That taught him how to manage projects, work with skilled trades and see a space's potential, and he brings all of it to every flooring and countertop job.
He guides customers from start to finish with honest advice and practical solutions that keep remodeling stress-free. Jose is bilingual in English and Spanish, so customers in either language feel informed and confident about their choices.
Originally from the Seattle area, he came to Yakima to join the family business and be closer to his wife Maddie's family. He loves time with Maddie, their son and their growing family, and he looks after his farm animals when he's not helping customers. Known for a friendly personality and a near-constant smile, Jose treats every customer with honesty, respect and care.
