Installation

Flooring and countertops installed by our own trained crew, never subcontractors.

We handle the whole job from the first measurement to the last bit of cleanup. Every installer is our employee, so the person who sold you the material and the person who installs it work for the same people, and you deal with one team the whole way through.

“Had carpet install done yesterday and completely happy with experience from beginning to end. On time, actually early, for the measure apt, received our bid the next day as promised, scheduled an install date that day, all very easy and professional. The install was also handled very professionally as well , Jeremiah and Brandon were both very accommodating and the install was perfectly done. Cleaned everything up and shook our hands when they left.”

Installation questions, answered

Still wondering about something? Call (509) 823-1060 or ask for it at your free measurement.

Do you use your own installers or subcontractors?

Our own employees, every time. The crew that lays your floor is trained on the exact products we sell, so they know the material, the right subfloor prep and the manufacturer’s requirements, and they answer to us, not to a third party. That training is a big reason our installations hold up.

Is it cheaper to buy at a big box store than at a local flooring shop?

Not necessarily. A big box price tag can look lower, but the installation is often subcontracted, the selection is limited and the in-store expertise varies. A local shop that buys direct from manufacturers can match or beat that pricing and add in-person samples, real guidance, professional installation and someone local to call if anything needs attention.

Should I buy the flooring myself or use the installer’s supplier?

Buying materials and installation together is usually the safer path. If you source your own flooring, you carry the risk when the wrong product, quantity or grade shows up, and many installers won’t warranty material they didn’t supply. Buying from us gives you one point of accountability for both the product and the install. You can browse everything we carry first.

What does installation cost?

It depends on the material, the size of the space, the condition of the subfloor and how complex the job is. Carpet and sheet vinyl are the most budget-friendly, luxury vinyl plank is the best mid-range value, and hardwood and tile sit at the premium end. The only way to get a real number is a free measurement, where you get a written quote with no obligation. For 2026 price ranges by material, read the Yakima flooring cost guide.
